The now 27-year-old actress grew the romance with the rocker under speculation the she had involvement with Manson’s and ex-wife Dita Von Teese’s divorce. Moreover, the ‘True Blood’ actress was only 19 years old when she went out with Manson who was 36 years old back then.

The ‘Thirteen’ actress revealed this little secret when she had an interview for Elle magazine August issue back in 2007, as reported by People magazine. Wood, who was just 20 years old back then, compliment her then-boyfriend as ‘lovely and amazing’ besides his craziness that she also loved.

Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson met each other in a party at Chateau Marmont of Los Angeles in 2006. They went through on- and off-relationship several times. Huffington Post recorded that Wood and Manson briefly split in November 2008. Yet, they reconciled weeks later and announced their engagement in January 2010. Unfortunately, the phenomenal and controversial couple decided to end their relationship forever in August 2010. Then, Evan Rachel Wood dated British actor Jamie Bell and married to him in October 2012.

Although it has been over, Evan Rachel Wood recalled that people were ‘too mean’ criticizing her relationship with Marilyn Manson.

Yet, addressing her former love life with the gothic rocker, Wood told The Daily Beast in November 2013 that people were way too mean criticizing her.
