Ryven-Symone told Oprah that She did not Want to be Labeled
Raven-Symone firmly said that she had been tired of being labeled to Oprah in the 28-year-old actress appearance in OWN’s ‘Oprah: Where Are They Now?’ evening show on Sunday, 5th of October 2014. Raven-Symone Christina Pearman or who is more famous on stage as Raven-Symone was famous for her role as Olivia Kendall in 1989’s ‘The Cosby Show’ and her own show ‘That’s So Raven’ aired in 2003 up to 2007. She also involved in several film production such as ‘Dr. Dolittle’ franchise film in 1998 and 2001 and as voice actor for character Iridessa in ‘Tinker Bell’ animation films. Raven-Symone is also well-known as a singer as she had produce 4 studio albums so far and 4 soundtracks albums for her shows. 

Talking to Oprah on that Sunday evening show, Raven-Symone said that she did not want to be labeled as either an African-American or a gay.

When talking about ‘her strong sense of self’ to 60-year-old senior television host Oprah, 28-year-old Raven-Symone said that she only wanted to be called as an American, according to Huffington Post. She did not want people call her an African-American since she did not know from which African country her root came from. What she knew that she originated from Louisiana in US. She was proud of calling herself as an American and ‘a colorless person’. 

Furthermore, Raven-Symone also told Oprah in the host OWN’s show ‘Where Are They Now?’ that she did not want to be labeled as a gay. Recently, ‘The Cheetah Girls’ actress came out as a lesbian as she is dating with ‘America’s Next Top Model: British Invansion’ contestant AzMarie Livingston. To Oprah, Raven-Symone admitted that she had liked both boys and girls since she was 12 years old. Raven-Symone said that she had her happiest moment in life for having the 27-year-old female model as her lover regarding any rumors out there.
